Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers understand a specific part of cycling without turning the subject into a sales pitch. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to see the question, approach and reader value.
What we welcome
We consider clear explainers, thoughtful comparisons, cycling history, accounts of everyday riding choices and pieces that make an unfamiliar term or practice easier to understand. Strong contributions stay focused, separate established facts from opinion and give readers a useful way to think about the subject.
A useful pitch
Tell us the working idea, the main point you want readers to take away, why it suits Modern Cycling Journal and how you would develop it. Note any relevant experience, sources or commercial connection. Please pitch the idea before sending a complete article, and do not include confidential or sensitive personal information.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to submit a proposal. Include your preferred contact details and a concise outline. Sending a pitch does not guarantee publication; we will review it for fit, clarity and distinctness from material already planned.
